I’m a writer, science geek, and all-around communications nerd.

In my day job, I lead the content and editorial team for Ohio State’s College of Arts and Sciences, developing content strategy, writing and editing stories and marketing materials, and managing a team of writers.

As a freelance editor and consultant, I’ve helped friends launch translation businesses and yarn stores, and I love working with writers to help them make their stories shine. My unofficial specialty is “having opinions,” which means I ask questions, offer constructive feedback and point out inconsistencies and potential problems in everything from business websites to fantasy novels.

Client Feedback

“Christina is one of the most insightful editors I've ever worked with. I got feedback on the same short website copy from several people, the rest of whom said it was fine. Christina made a number of comments that not only fixed mechanical problems but clearly improved the writing in ways I hadn't remotely considered. I've consistently been on the lookout for opportunities to work with her again ever since.” - Sam Mowry, Samuel Mowry Translations
